OUR HISTORY

The Betesda Evangelical Church was founded on February 4, 2004, with its first services held in a home. Six months later, the church began meeting in a rented building belonging to the Episcopal Church in Malden, where it remained for two years. In 2006, by the grace of God, we established our current headquarters at 158 Carter Street in Chelsea – a place where we continue to grow and serve the community.

Our ministry is independent, with Pentecostal roots and a strong emphasis on deliverance and healing ministries. We are under the spiritual covering of Eagle Heights Cathedral in the city of Revere, led by Bishop James E. Collins (Assemblies of God).

OUR VISION

Our mission is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. We believe in practical and transformative discipleship, encouraging each member to develop a strong devotional life through personal Bible reading and prayer.

We also offer training to help members discern the spiritual realm, equipping them to minister deliverance and healing to those in need—both inside and outside the four walls of the church.
