The history of Betesda Evangelical Church began on February 4, 2004, with a home worship service. After six months, we rented the building of the Episcopal Church in Malden, where we stayed for two years.
In 2006, we witnessed divine providence when we were blessed with our current location at 158 Carter St., Chelsea.
On December 10, 2021, we celebrated another significant milestone by founding Betesda Church in Marlborough, located at 796 Boston Post Rd E, Marlborough, MA.
Our ministry is independent but has Pentecostal roots, with a special emphasis on the areas of deliverance and healing. We maintain a valuable spiritual connection with Eagle Heights Cathedral in Revere, pastored by Bishop James E. Collins (Assemblies of God).
Our Vision
Equip the saints for the work of the ministry. We do this practically by emphasizing member training for a personal life of Bible reading and individual prayer, as well as training on how to recognize the spiritual realm to bring freedom to captives inside and outside the church.
